Earl Grey is one of our long standing flagship teas. The zesty and aromatic flavouring of Bergamot oranges combines beautifully with teas from Kaimosi, our ‘forest farm’. Earl Grey with Blue Flowers contains blue cornflowers also grown on Kaimsoi, to make a tea as beautiful as it tastes.
Interestingly we were the first ever people to make an Earl Grey using purely Kenyan teas. It was always believed that the richness of Assam or other oriental teas was needed to balance the oil of Bergamot, but after much trial and error our Master Blender perfected the combination and its been a firm favourite ever since!
‘Peaches & Bear’ described our Earl Grey with Blue Flowers perfectly as a surprisingly relaxing brew with floral notes and sweet orange. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
