Lelsa White Matcha is a new addition to the range and is made only from hand selected Ejulu tea leaves growing on the famous Lelsa section of our Changoi farm.
Lelsa is famed for its high quality teas and ‘White Teas’ created with as minimum as possible human intervention, are the best teas it produces. Young buds are picked from each bush during the early year dry period when bush growth it as its slowest. Once picked the buds are then withered naturally laid on aerated tables to allow an even enzymatic oxidation to take place, which is finally stopped with a careful drying procedure to ensure a delicious and delicate tea is produced, rich in antioxidants and flavour.
As with all Matchas, our White Matcha is stoneground to leave a fine, even powered finish with a light and exquisite flavour.
