Williamson Tea is a leading member of the Ethical Tea Partnership.Williamson Tea provides an infrastructure of housing, education, and hospitals in Kenya, and is committed to long term sustainable trading which means taking responsibility for our environment and people. Conservation of wildlife is important to the company. Williamson Tea has helped to protect the endangered species in India and Kenya. Conservation of the environment is also important and we make concerted efforts to protect the available natural forests on our property and annually plant more indigenous tree seedlings to fill any idle open space. Any mature Pine, Cypress harvested commercially for timber and Eucalyptus harvested for firewood are replanted on a programme.
